Last Friday a fair / market was held at the local school in Turija for the theme “Household products” and “Healthy food”. Our students and teachers have worked hard on this in the past period. The crown on this work is the fair that has exceeded the expectations of quality, visibility and diversity. Visitors were able to view and taste a wide range of household products and homemade healthy meals made by their students with their parents and caretakers.

The importance of household products and healthy food is often unspoken. We only have to look at Scandinavian economies, which are entirely based on the preservation of domestic products and services.

The fair was supported by a number of domestic companies that we like to recommend: Gulsen D.O.O. with delicious raspberries from Turija, Bingo Ltd. from Tuzla, Imel Lukavac with his farm in Milo Selo, Violeta D.O.O. from Tuzla, Eso Lab from Lukavac, Vega-mix D.O.O. from Zivinice, Patisserie “Bosphorus” from Puračić, Solana from Tuzla, the Lukavac Coly Company, Bakery “Nino” from Turija, Coffee roaster “Nina” from Poljice, STR “Colossus” from Turija and many other persons and legal entities. On this occasion we once again thank the sponsors of the fair, they have ensured that we have been able to promote their products!

We also want to thank the parents and caretakers who, together with the students, have prepared substantial amounts of homemade food.

Ultimately, of course, much praise goes to our teachers, students and school management, who have prepared all this in the past period. Today we have shown that the major of the local school “Turija” and the local community does not matter. We have, through the use of each other, had a fun and instructive period which ultimately gave the entire population of Turija something.
